CBHC Helpline

Call 1-888-544-8271 to tell your health care story to a CBHC staffer

The CBHC Helpline is part of the Story Collection Initiative. The goal of this project is to bring the often-unheard voices of average citizens to the forefront of the health care debate.

People all across the state are forced to jeopardize their well-being, cut their pills in half and skip appointments with their doctors due to ballooning health care costs. We use the poignant stories of ordinary Illinoisans to bring the seriousness of the health care crisis home to legislators, news media and community leaders.

If the health care crisis has affected you or someone you know, please share your story by calling our Helpline toll-free at 1-888-544-8271.

You can also contact a Helpline volunteer via email at helpline@cbhconline.org
