The Health Care Justice Campaign is a project of the Campaign for Better Health Care, working in cooperation with over one hundred groups and individuals statewide.
Our mission is to make sure the General Assembly fully implements the Health Care Justice Act by enacting a plan for affordable, accessible, quality health care for all Illinoisans.

Volunteer with CBHC
CBHC is working to make statewide comprehensive health coverage a reality, but we need YOU to make it happen!
UIUC Volunteer Day - October 4, 2008
Benefits of volunteering with CBHC:
- Campaign volunteers gain firsthand knowledge of the important role that citizen advocacy can play in shaping our health care system
- Volunteers gain valuable experience in public health care policy at state and federal levels
- Volunteers will learn more about how grassroots organizing and progressive politics work
Volunteer opportunities:
- Computer/Technical assistance: Tech support for the Macintosh operating system, 4D database programming support, graphics production, database entry
- Help with phones calls and mailings to maintain and expand the CBHC membership
- Writing articles for newsletters, both print and electronic
- Fundraising, special event help, soliciting in-kind donations
