2007 Summer Celebration
Get Energized! Celebrate and Mobilize! Support the fight for health care justice during this critical time. Join the Campaign for Better Health Care for food, entertainment and speakers.
Make no mistake, our collective efforts have generated the momentum that have placed the debate over health care reform on center stage. Years of grassroots advocacy and strategic coalition building have led us to this historic opportunity in Illinois. As you know, the Illinois Covered plan currently awaiting approval by the state legislature has its roots in the Health Care Justice Act and reflects our unwavering commitment to create a fair and efficient health care system in Illinois.
This struggle will continue through the summer. There will be many different twists and turns, but we believe in the end we will see the implementation of legislation that fulfills the goals we have all worked so hard to realize.
We'll have the opportunity to network, reflect on all of this year's accomplishments, strategize for the months ahead and enjoy the good company of fellow advocates. Also, join us in thanking Governor Blagojevich, who is scheduled to attend, for his commitment to making sure all Illinoisans have access to affordable, quality health care.
