Sound the Alarm for Health Care Justice!
April 16-18

1.8 million people statewide have no health insurance. This number is growing as the economic downturn costs more people their jobs and their health care coverage. At the same time, new leadership in Springfield and D.C. offers new opportunities for reform.
It is time for people of faith to "SOUND THE ALARM for Health Care Justice!" Congregations across the state will join together in prayer and then “sound the alarm” with a horn, bell or other instrument, sounding 18 times for the 1.8 million uninsured people in Illinois. Use this event to call on legislators to make quality, affordable health care accessible to everyone in Illinois.
Planned for April 16-18, "SOUND THE ALARM!" offers many ways to participate: special prayers, sending fax forms and letters, holding discussion groups, and more!
