Health Care Justice News
Over the next several weeks, members of the Health Care Justice Campaign will be meeting with their state legislators to ask them to sign this New Year's Resolution pledge (pdf) to pass comprehensive health care reform in 2008. We need your help — set up a meeting with your state legislator today!

New figures from the US Census Bureau show that the percentage of Illinoisans without health insurance rose from 13.4% in 2005 to 13.9% in 2006. The figures for our state mirror a nationwide trend that has caused the number of uninsured people in the US to balloon to 47 million. You can download the Census report here (pdf).
