Monday, September 23: Bad Choices: Defund ObamaCare or We’ll Shut the Whole Thing Down
Special Guest Speakers: US Represenative Jan Schakowsky (IL-9), (invited) US Representative Rodney Davis (IL-13), and Jennifer Beeson, Diretor of Government Affairs, Families USA. Once again, House leadership is attempting to use funding the US government as leverage in their quest to defund Obamacare. Today’s vote on a continuing resolution which includes a provision to defund Obamacare will surely be voted down by the Senate. Without an agreement, the necessary funding to keep the government functioning will end as of Sept. 30.
